Reports have been circulating informing that Microsoft’s latest keyboards will be accompanied by a couple of extra keys, so in case you are planning to buy a new keyboard are interested in what Microsoft is offering, you might be interested in taking a look at the company’s online store where it has listed two new keyboards for pre- order.

A dedicated key for Microsoft Office will be included in both these keyboards listed by the company. Additionally, the other key included will be dedicated to emojis. ‘Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard’ and the ‘Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard’ are two new keyboards that have been listed by the company in its online store.

On pressing the ‘Office key’, which is located to the right of the spacebar in both the listed keyboards; the Office for Windows 10 app loads by default. Interestingly, if you are looking to open a particular Office App, for instance PowerPoint, Word or Excel, it will be possible to do so by pressing a combination of keys, one of which being the Office Key. For example if you wish to launch the Word app, the keyboard command to be used will be, Office key+ W.

Right next to the Office key is the other new key, namely the ‘Emoji key’. A Windows 10 emoji picker will appear on the screen as soon as the user presses the Emoji Key, from which the required emoji can be selected. However; the utility of this key in 2019 is debatable.Starting October 15th, the company will start shipping both the keyboards up for pre- order. The Bluetooth Keyboard can be purchased at $49.99, which the Ergonomic Keyboard will be available at a price of $ 59.99. While the former keyboard is compatible with Window 8.1 and 10; the latter is compatible with Windows 7, 8.1 and 10; however; unless you are running Windows 10, both the new keys won’t work on it.
