In the three- day event of Vietnam Venture Summit, VinaCapital Ventures, which the technology investment arm of VinaCapital made an investment of US$ 4 million in Rever’s series B funding. Vietnamese investment firm STI Holding, and Le Hong Minh, the founder and CEO of VNG, one of the Southeast-Asian unicorn companies had joined the funding round.
Founded in the year 2016, Rever provides among their range of tools, real-time transaction management services with smart customer relationship management and property database service to real estate agents, and a price preference tools based on real market data analytics.
The company aims to become a one-stop solution for all accommodation-related needs, for which the company is interested in adding more tools and services to its platform. Loan brokerage, smart-home solutions and digital furniture fitting are the proposed tools.
According to Khanh Tran, a partner at VinaCapital Ventures, the investment made by the company is in alignment with its philosophy of targeting startups that are disrupting how industries operate. He explained that this investment is a strategic move from their end, given that they have been a a long-time real estate investor and developer.
Furthermore, they believe that Rever has the potential to lead the transformation of the real estate business, from one that is still very much based on brick-and-mortar to one that is a key part of the digital economy.
